The Indian skipper Mr.Ganguly is out of form since 3-3.5 years.This is worst.He should be rested now.He does not concentrate in cricky but in other things. This is bad for our world cup preparation.He should be thrown out of Indian cricket team.
the ratings given by you are absolutely correct. greg chappel should not have asked saurav ganguly to step down as captain infact he should have asked him to step down from team.
Indian cricket board lacks commitment in selecting a good side. It has dropped some cricketers who are in form and have kept the senior members in the team event though they hardly play. The entire system of selection in Indian cricket board should be changed. It should not consider the player with his records or his seniority. It must select the player based on his commitment and his recent form. Unless and until the BCCI selects a commited bunch of players for a series India will see victory as a Dream. We should remove the star status on the senior player and consider their current performance with that of the domestic players and select a descent indian team. Being a highly populated cricket playing nation India has a mere below average record as a team when compared to other countries. We surely have lots of talent in out Country, but they all are being deprived of their chances Due to the senior players.
The analysis of the last two tours shows that the dravid plays nice when he plays as captain but ganguly can't play good either as captain or as aplayer. he should be moved out of team immediately.
Until BCCI doesnot take serious steps to improve domestic cricket, we can only expect indian cricketers to perform in this way. Things to look in 1. All International players should participate in domestic matches. 2. Players should be selected based on current form and their experience. 3.BCCI should have qualified MBA as CEO 4.Selectors should good experience of cricket(10 years) and no regional quota ststems.
it is true that the indian cricket team is going through a bad patch for a long time now. but what else can we do rather than support this team.. it will be better that if someone goes up to them and say the following:
1.discipline is a primary requiement for better performance in every field.stick to chapell's disciplinary rules. have faith in chapell-- results are bound to come.
2.fight every ball--if you are batting, no loose shot and be determined not to give away your wicket in any ball of any bowler of any counrty; if you are bowling, no loose ball. keep every ball in the stamps (dont try hard to bowl) so that no ball of mine can be easily played by the opponent.
3. be positive throughout.. no relax till we fight it out for us and win win win.... even when the opponent hold our neck tight.. we will win ...
only three points can change the body language of our team.. i am sure.. comeon india... fight it out!!!!
there is a need to change players in the indian team.there is no meaning in still waiting for the boys to show up their talents..and the position of indian team in last but one is expected..next only zimbabwe..i dont know why still ganguly is given a chance to play in the international level..apart from captaincy,there is nothing to see in him..i dont know why BCCI still entertains with him..and everybody is thinking of final performances..may be worst final performances that india had over the past few years..but you see,their league matches too haven't been upto the mark.they struggled to win against zimbabwe and one game again west indies..zimbabwe being the weakest team in the world ,lowest ranked..and west indies ,its almost a west indies A team..none of the playes have had the experience in the west indies..and i think this is the time, to think of a new captain.and i dont think why harbhajan is preferred over anil kumble in one day games..who says harbhajan takes more wickets per match and who says he prevents un scoring in the middle overs..kumle is one of the best bowlers in the world, and he can bowl at any time and he is the wicket taking bowler compared to harbhajan.
