Its a disgusting speech. I dont think most of the ardent cricket fans will NOT forget the match.. where Manoj prabakar and Mongia played for prabakar's century and surrendered.
If this kind of person becomes a selector, only GOD can save the Indian Cricket. Indians are made an ass of ourselves in the name of Board of Cricket. this is easily derived by his speech. Like the Administrators, MBA's or Some IAS, IPS people with good attitude should be taken to that post. Not like Mongia.

Sour Grapes Story

Nayan Mongia - One of the worst characters in Indian Cricket. A man of limited talents - with just some wicket keeping skills to show and absolutely no batting talent whatsoever. Decent batting record only because of sheer hardwork with no talent to convert it into big scores. Most of the runs against very weak bowling attacks and/or on very flat wickets. average wicket keeping stats as well - Dinesh Karthik compares better. With all these, he feels hurt that he has been dropped? His demeanour on the field clearly suggested he was selfish (Remember Bombay test vs Australia, Kolkata test when batting, one of the worst team players with absolutely no sense of sportsmanship. A great pretender and a guy whose scruples were questionable. And he dares to come out every so often and complains about the selection process!! He is merely a dog barking at the sun. However, if the right buttons are pressed, he might become a selector and that will be a total disaster of sorts. He doesn;t have any credentials to become a selector and worst of all, his scruples and morals would just drag down the moral compass of the selection comittee.
