i m a great fan of indian cricket like many others in india. i love to see india on winning note, though u cannot win in every match we playing for.
but today i m here to ask some question on our selection policy.
1:why we hve a selection committee of 5 zonal members, why not 3 members comprosing plyers like kapil dev, dilip vengsarkar who knows the game better then kiran more,pranab roy gopal sharma who r not any comprison wh players like kapil dev sunil gavaskar and dilip vengasarkar and soo--- on. 2: .
we are always talking abt australian cricket policy--how they playing, how they mentally tough, how the selectors are tough abt the non performing players..why i m writing all this is----- though i agree tht sachin tendulkar is great, but sorav also a great player and a captain.when the selecters asked to ganguly to prove his fitness and form it is good.but----wht abt tendulkar? after 6 months he returns to intl. cricket.its fine.but wht i m trying to say is---why not he being asked to play some domestic matches ?coz in challenger series he has scored-7,12 n 21.why this double standard.plz let me know.
We are happy to watch that India had won against SL in 2 ODI but feeling sad to know that in everytime India wins a match (after Chappel & Sourav episode) the people from North brickbatting Sorav Ganguly. If this is the trend of spitting venom to a cricketer who is from East & having done great service to Indian Crickets, then days are coming when people from East will start neglecting cricket. Although our stars couldn't realise the fact that Cricket is played between few nations only. It's high time we should promote footbal & Tennis, atleast real talents are getting their rewards. In cricket which is rare. It's reallay shame for us.
its great start to the series, no one would have thought that india will win both the opening matches and that too in such a comanding fashion. GREAT Team India!! let see if they can do it in the third one dayer....
Sachin looks in great touch, but law of averages may be against him in the next one.. Sehwag had a start in both matches but didn't capitalize on them. Dravid looks as solid as ever and then starts the problem for india... JP Yadav was clearly uncomfortable against Murali... Pathan's magic @ 3 may not work everyday... MSDhoni shows promise but needs some big knocks... Yuraj should utilize the next oppourtunity he gets... otherwise Kaif, Venugopal and Raina are pulling up socks so that good .... but for the team ... they should deliver when the oppourtunity knocks the door... Harbhajan shows good rythm and Pathan is getting the much desired swing.... but agarkar ... you never know with this guy... then no body can defend why Sresanth was 12th man when India had decided to field first had they won the toss... any ways it Greg has different mathematicians...
DID only 2 consecutives Victories with a mass difference on Sri Lanka, had proved India's team to best enough to win World Cup???
No - As I feel there should be consistency in winning and winning with a mass difference. I also feel leaving about the top middle order is still weak to handle preasurise situation or to say that, had a courage to bring ONE HAND victory.
i believe if irfan is groomed in the right way, he can be the amazing allrounder which india are lacking. But for that we also need to wash our heads off with the mentality of putting our players in a pedestal after one good performance and putting them down after after a bad one.
