he should be rested for the rest of life there is no use of him in india side . how long india will back a player who have failed to make mark in recent time. and there is many new face waiting to come out of block and fire. how long you will back him who is himself dought to make a world cup we need fresh leg not old .....
i cant think anything about team india without ganguly as a captain because he is a great player and about his captaincy no question can arises.He has proved it so many times. he has built the complete team team india and so called great coach Mr. Greg Chappel just broke the team spirit and that complete team. he may be a good player but he has no idea how to guide a team. he dont know anything about coaching
The only question that arises in my mind ..........why it is Ganguly who has to prove his fitness with a century and not only by a medical test??? A player who has scored a century in the last tour, and have won the test series for his country.....even who have made a fifty in the oneday series....why he needs to prove his fitness by scoring runs???
Analysing this question only make a thing very clear.......last time in the World Cup India put up a challenge for Australia.........this time our coach is making all necessary arrangement so that at least the challenge doesnt come from India....he is making the team fight among itself, making a real fine and most successful Indian captain crippled and making sure that the ego clash remains in the team.......
Thats there lies the professionalism of our coach.........in only month and so he has made all these points clear and by 2007 he will be totally successful with his mission........Best of Luck to our coach and sorry to the Indian Cricket fans.

I think only a bengoli can say all this...not a true cricket fan..true cricket fan loves the team and not just an individual
Pls pls plsssssssssss for God's sake, dont bring in fitness issue of Ganguly... If one cant continue in his elements any long as a batsmen/bowler, he shud take a respectable way out of team by retiring; but not crave for more games (& thus more money) like Ganguly... He is no greater God or atleast not a great personality like Steve Waugh, Desmond Haynes so on, who eventually accepted their retirement with smile !!!
As Ganguli has shown his temperament& no doubt a clever as well as the highly successfull captain of india, it should still open for him a berth inside the team in recent Srilanka & South Africa tour. Keeping in mind that the strength of Srilanka is Murali & Vass, again Ganguli Treated them well earlier very well than any other Indian Batsman. Further he had his Individual best score in One Day is against Srilanka also.
Its very happy to see ganguly getting hundred in duleep trophy,but indian team needs consistency.He should be included in the national team only after seeing more alike performances.If he gets a place,so should Wasim Jaffer who also made a ton.Lets wait and see what the selectors think..
