Ofcourse this is a sign !! It\'s remarkable that SL couldn\'t stand up to a state (no disrespect intended) team. We need to carry this forward into the ODI series and believe me, all of Team India\'s recent trials & tribulations would be very quickly forgotten. I love it...Thanks Bombay (no disrespect again, I know it ought to be called Mumbai, I just grew up that way)!!
A big lesson to learn for our so called national TEAM.... none of the Mumbai players went on to make century... none got five or more wickets... ya sri lanka did drop some catches, but that can't undermine Mumbai's TEAM performance... let's hope that after kicking that SCHOOL KID from captaincy, our team will play like TEAM now on...
Kudos, to the mumbai team. i waz thrilled to see the way they played the spinners and the lankan fast bowlers. I usually dont watch the Indian team play,coz there performances are so pathetic. And i watch mumbai team play by accident, while i waz surfing the T.V channels. and i waz amazed to see mumbai perform so well. They played very confidently.
I recommend that the mumbai team should replace the Indian team for the coming ODI series and 4 the world cup.
Indian team doesnt play to win, nor they play as a team. Its a team of individual stars..
But mumbai plays to win.. Kudos again.. keep up the good work..
