Cricket Fan, Give me a break. Scoring century against domestic bowling---117 from 143 balls says very clearly that he is far from international standards. Just look at the performances of Very Very Special Laxman in the challengers. His batting was awesome against India Seniors(which apparently has our regular bowlers) and scored a century against India B in less number of balls and that bowling attack is far superior than North Zone. And Laxman still doesn't find place in the ODI Team which is so unfortunate and you and apart from you several other Bengali Babus expect Saurav Ganguly to be in the team. It is a shame that even in 21st century we are not able to rise above regionalism that is crippling our country in various fronts. To all the angry bengalis, please make a note that The Great Sri Swami Vivekananda is from your Holy Womb and he would be ashamed with all those who are angry with Ganguly's non-inclusion in the Indian Team. So Mr. Cricket Fan, just wake up from your deep slumber and stop posting crap over internet just because you have a mouse, key board and internet connection. Srinivas.
The article says "East owe the edge they got to Ganguly, who had taken three crucial wickets in North's first innings, restricting them to 178"
Ganguly had taken only 2 wickets as shown in the bowling score card but they have mentioned it as 3 in the above statement. This is incorrect and you should try to overcome such minor but critical errors in your reports to be a professional report writer.
