There is no comparison between DADA and Dravid. DADA is the best. In fact there is nobody in the Indian side who has the capability as DADA to lead the side .
I have no doubt in my mind that Dravid is the best choice for captaining India. If at all there is any Individual with consistent performance, strong work ethics, spotless record and experience it must be Dravid. Can't remember of any instance he got into any controversy in his long career. I know it does not automatically give him the right to be the captain but just goes to show the kind of character he is made of. Given the current state of cricket in India and looking ahead till the world cup Dravid should be given the chance which he earned through hard work and dedication. We need self motivated Individuals like him if we want to celebrate in WI 2 yrs from now.
Congrats, Dravid. Right now he is the man who can lead by example. Selectors have made the correct decision which let's hope they dont revert the next day.
Rediff reported "...he was named skipper ahead of an injured Sourav Ganguly", when BCCI person clearly said Dravid's captaincy has nothing to with "INJURY" of Sourav Ganguly. Why rediff is giving an impression that Dravid made captain because Ganguly is injured ?
