Let me tell first I am not fan of Ganguly, I too hate him, but when Sachin was on poor performance no one pointed out him because everyone knows that he is legend. In my opinion Ganguly also very good player definitely he will come back with his old style. Mr. Chappel is playing a dirty game and he must be fired.
I was reading the article which tells that ganguly need to work more to come back is absolutely correct. Chapell is a dynamic man who looks towards the next world cup at west indies to make Indian a strong team. At this point Ganguly is not at all a choice for next world cup looking at his fittness and his age. I wish he would have taken retirement after he completed 10000 runs and made a century against Zimbabwe. That would have been a royal exit rather than having an exit as an unsung hero. I appreciate the step to drop down Ganguly and wish Rahul Dravid all the best.
I have no doubt that sachin, will hit a century against srilanka in the upcoming ODI, and he is a man who is always like a cavalier ready to go and fight for his country with hunger in his heart and thoughts of his people and the flag in his brain.
There is nothing much more happier for indian cricket fan and an international fan, to see the return of the God of Cricket.
As for as Ganguly, he needs some rest and practice matches and can come back in the mid of the series, i would like to give the honours to the man who led india to glorious victories,eventhough he is not a captain, he will deserve a place in team when he returns back to international arena.
captaincy,comes and goes, even tendulkar had it twice,but the name of being legend stays for ever and tendulkar and ganguly are legends of indian cricket.
I am no die hard fan of Ganguly. But the coach sounds stupid. For Ganguly - fitness matters and for Tendulkar - it doesn't. What double standards! He's playing his cards well - Dont want to turn the whole country against him by saying anything against Tendulkar.
With Ganguly, the "politician" could take a chance.
Kudos - we need you, Chappel and the selection committee need to show faithin you too - because without some new blood drwan, how can we ensure a corrective action has taken place.
