I am not against Pietersen getting the awards, but I think that it would be better if the awards were based on a more statistical approach.. The question is: "Would Pietersen have got the best player award if he had not hit the century in the final ashes match.. Meaning that his performance after the D-Day (Jul 31st) would have influenced the judges..
