Cricket - Sachin and Saurav

Let the two stalwarts be retired from the game and give place to new young faces; too much media hype on their form and foul mouth remarks make bad/sad news; time they quit honorably; in fact, I would say let cricket be handed over to private clubs to promote - Govt can levy heavy taxes and utilise the funds for promotion of other sports in the country,
instead of creating all scandals like BCCI election, Match Fixing, and influence peddling for place in the team ! Clubs will choose on merit and make a business out of them so long as they sre valuable, pay well too - so no grouse for cricketeers; time Govt concentrated on other actiivities !

Tendulkar's aspiration
by R SUBRAMANIAN on Oct 07, 2005 03:42 PM

If there is a will there is a way. At least the expression of view of the Master Blaster is impressive and submisive. He is trying his level best through practice from Mumbai Raji players. I hope he is the best example to be the best cricketer and the rest should follow his practice sensation.

I hope he will do well in the ensuing matches.
