Another way to escape from losing captaincy??
by rohan on Oct 05, 2005 06:37 PM

Is this so called injury a fake one again??? oh oh Mr Ganguly,we know u have done a good job as the India captain but of late...or rather since 15 months or so we havent done well at all,how can a captain be in the side without performance....its really shocking!Dalmiya .....what a money eater u r!!! u better get aware of the fact that u r spoiling Indian cricket by pampering Sourav so much.
And now,if Sourav doesn't participate in the challenger series from 10th-13th of this month...it will b an easy escape for him..and he will b made the Skiper of the team again..for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka, who r ranked second in the world ODI ratings.....the same old story of losing crucial games will continue if Ganguly is still at the helm...we will b beaten either 3-4 or 2-5......no doubt abt that!

ganguly's fitness.

Ganguly is infact, now both, mentally and psychologically unfit. He is expected to come out with an excuse of physical injury every now & then 'coz he knows that in this way he will not be thrown out.He knows fully well that he is a spent force and can't perform to the satisfaction of coach or selectors to continue in the team.Board's president remembers his 100 scored in 1st test against zimb. and not 16 in 2nd test.that speaks for itself regarding sympathies for him.

Ganguly's injury

If he is unfit to play it is better to give a chance to other player. Should not be any compromise with regard to fitness of a player in games. And if a player becomes to fit after injury then, he should be asked to play in first class cricket before including in national matches. Let us talk less and act more practically.

Injury may keep Ganguly out

Is Ganguly proving that Greg Chappel was right in his opinion? I think he should take some rest atleast till Jan 2005 in his own interest and in the interest of Indian Cricket. Is it blessings in disguise?

The situation is getting curiouser and curiouser! Well, as an admirer of the great man, and true lover of the game of cricket, I would hope that Ganguly will participate in the forthcoming matches, and put a rest to the speculations about his future as a cricketer.

At the XI th Hour

As it is there are ONLY 13 Players Selected per Team. If Ganguly drops out in the Eleventh Hour then we are left with Eleven Players + A Super Sub in the Seniors Side!. In a way what Greg has said is Right - He feigns Injuries.

Ganguly's injury

The President of BCCI informed the public that there was miscommunication between Chappell & Ganguly in regard to the latter's fitness after the tour match in Zimbabwe!Even the Tour Manager gave Ganguly a clean chit making it look as if Chappell was lying. Who is lying now? Mahendra must be looking and feeling like a goose now!
