Well friend, We can fight to eliminate the caste system, but: -How many of you ready to remove the surname/title from your name? -How many of you will reject a candidate of your category (after coming to know it)? -How many of you will equally distribute the available resources among the poor (without caring what caste actually does he/she belong to)? I hope just few hundreds out of the multi-billion population of the country.
The statements of both the guys seem just like one of the character in Laksya (Hindi Movie) who supported the freedom of women in TV interview and started dominating Priti Zinta after Engagement.And this is the real truth-you beleive or not.
I hope that now you are intelligent enough to understand why quota just on economic basis will not work as projected.However, I support the present quota-system cascaded with Economic Status [Creamy Layer system -probably all Tax payers,Class-I Officers(Gazetted/Non-Gazetted),etc. may be out-listed from the list of beneficiary], which will bring sped reform and progress towards the goal.And then there will be a day when it will be easy to abolish the quota forever (and possibly caste system too.)

Who is ready to fight for abolishing of caste system. Ask any BC if he is ready to withdraw his identity as a BC. So is the case with SC/ST. Please dont think that i am generalizing it. But this is to a greater exent true. The continuation of caste system helps the BCs, SCs and STs. They derive a lot of advantages by playing the caste trump card.

They are only willing to fight against discrimination in the caste system.How will they fight against the caste system which has made them supre humans?

Lets say if we convert the entire India in to sc/st how would that be? No middle or end or first name/Would that remove the caste and caste based reservation? ther should be no objection from forward castes as there is no caste based reservation and there should be no onjection from sc/st as there is no forward caste.the govt can bring about an emergency resolution and convert every one in to one scheduled caste so that no more caste talks.Would any one like it? I do not mind at all.I would rather be a sc/st and still be allowed to show my talents rather than snub my merit as a forward caste.The problem here is again they will want reservation even then.
there is no doubt both ganguly and sachin should retire give chance to youngsters selection is also appointed by bcci only hence we can fortell what can happen

It is interesting to note that sourav could easily put his bat into action against the ball thrown by Mr.chappell in time.Remember we indians always fell inferiority complex to a white skin.We should give more importance to Deshi coach.Chappell and Mr.mahendra had all the malicious arrangemnets to ruin the indian team.Mahendra should be debarred from making public speeches which may create confusion among the players and the public.Chappell could take the full advantage of his servantile attitude.Till to-day he could not utter a single word against chappell.I feel we indians can not beat australia with an old austrian coach in our side.The present situation is self explanatory.

Don't you think the selectors and the BCCI has given enough time for Ganguly to hit his form ? What if it was some other player in place of Ganguly ? I would like to know what would be the fate of that person ? Would he been given so many chances to hit his form ? I am sure the answer is no. We all know that he is the captain of the Indian team leading the team, but does this set a right example leading from front ? Coming to point of giving time to the individuals, why could'nt the board give time to Rahul Dravid to lead from front. I am sure he would have improved from match to match and i am also sure that Ganguly would had been on enormous pressure and would also perform on afraid to be in the team. Also coming to Greg's view of Ganguly not obeying discipline during the training session, has Ganguly improved in his fielding and most importantly running between the wickets ? Indian team easily losses around 20-30 runs sometimes even more thru the same and in bargain losses the match. Its time the BCCI and the whole lot of members to stop POLITICS and become aggressive on taking decision.
Indian cricket is not having any sort of sporting spirit. Everything politics. Why Australia becoming world champian? because they measure the player with Performance at present. Though we have lot of talented players we are not able to win only because players like Ganguly. Instead of giving chances ganguly India Cricket has to give the Chances to any young player who can become the asset for Indian cricket. Fairly say India lost the spirit when the e-mail was leaked specifically to Save Ganguly. Indian Cricket council has to be changed first then the team has to be filtered..... Never think a change in Indian Team unless BCC Team changes.. They are all Interlinked in everything. Do BCC think that there is no Great Player in India than Ganguly??? Why to give time to get his form on the cost of Matches. Give him chance to improve his performance in Ranji Trophies or in Local matches. Remember its not ganguly u r protecting you are simply spitting on Indian face.
Entire episode happended because of the tournament against ZIMBABE. Had Indian team not been in Zimbabe Ganguli must have not strike century and the problem might have not occured. We should restrain playing against such team. Their is absolutely no problem otherwise. I recall recently in Mumbai few boys striked century while playing at south Mumbai. We can't say any team inferior anymore. They should also be given chance in Indian team. If he fails in test match that will hardly affect us as it is regular phenomenon and we Indian are accustomed of it by now. But doing that we can give one individual with their entire family a handsome money for their rest of decent live.....
