No excuses for World XI, they could have done well, but they did, lack or commitment, and killer instinct. No matter they have not played together, now it is the time for them to know each other and adjust among themselves and give out their best and stand tall. I wish World XI all the success, please play atmost faith and capacity and rest follows your way.
What is Dravid doing at number six in this team? I believe that is a pretty bad position for him. The only reason he did well is that number 3, 4 and 5 conspired not trouble the scorers much. For all practical purposes he was playing as number 3 or 4, albeit with the handicap of four batsmen back in the hut. I have never been able to fathom why he is not more respected for pulling out his team from such tough positions time and time again. And, imagine, how much more the team could have put up if Dravid came in his natural slot. It would have given Pollock and company more time for the final on-slaught and with more wickets in hand.
