He too is slowly but surely becoming a spoilt child of Indian cricket.

I think its time for him to retire, better leave and give some mental space for indian team to work on their own rather than depending on him

Shame on Rediff
by Vijay on Oct 01, 2005 11:54 PM

I am sorry, but not everybody's English is as perfect as those of the
Messers at Rediff.

First you quote Sachin's gramatical error verbatim instead of
paraphrasing him (would it have killed you to write "Sachin says his
elbow hurt", instead of quoting him says "my elbow pains").

Then you add insult to injury by having a gramatically incorrect sub-
heading "Sachin tells ahead of domestic series", instead of "Sachin
says ahed of domestic series".

I am sure your clever writer is chuckling at his inventiveness at having
come up with a good one. However, there are those of us who can
still see through your private jokes.

Sachin is a national hero, and your writer is an insignificant nothing.
Do not wallow so much in hubris and self-indulgence as to believe
that you can make jokes at a great man's expense and get away with
it.

Rediff has to beware if it does not want to lose its patronage.
