India new coach have to think about these guys and I am happy India got 4th Rank.

Hi It is seen from the ICC ranking chart that appeared, that India have more than 4348 points . All others have less points.How is then India in the 4th with a rating of only 109? How is this decided? Any help please??

The rating is decided by dividing the points obtained and the number of matches played. India played more matches than any other team, so they got more points.

It is because India has played more ODI's than other countries. That is the reason it stays on 4 even India got more points. I guess this helps you out
In the captency of Rahul Dravid, India has improved their ranking. The credit should given to Chappel also. The policy adopted by the coach is excellent. 'Give performance and make into the team'.
No player should make it depend on his old performance. What is the present form of the Player and given them chance. A player may fail in 10 matches. But he should perform on 11th match.
It is a very good thing to happen for India.India in just 1 month and 4 days and 11 ODIs later, 1 of which got washed out, has hit the 4th position from 7th.
India has a very tough season ahead and the lessons learnt should be kept in mind in the future matches.
Congrats Indian Team! Finally india got 4th place?! it is good news there became from 7th Rank..!but i eagerly want india will beat Australia in Their Home?!
