Whether Maratha-ballot player should involve in cricket ballots?
by Dr. Dhanakar Thakur on Nov 29, 2005 04:23 PM

Congratulations!
But whether this Maratha-ballot player should involve himself in cricket ballots?

Ideally this is an arena where bat players should ball each other not the ones who are in the mud of politics where they ball to spoil other's cloths (read character) or sports is also a place where not only scams are possible it gives one easy advertisement (and money) and what game may be more fascinating than cricket where player too is more a model and earning by anyway including fixing has been the order of day to have some earnings fixed for future.
Politics in sports or sports in politics now Sharad has come with sixes.
Here he may be hit wicket like cricket but it is more temperamental than Hara-kiri already he has chosen by allying with the one he had left on issue of foreign nationalism. Hope he crosses the boundary there too by lbwing his Captain/queen.
Is Cricket not a foreign game played by the rich country and its poor colonies but it will not be accepted easily by those who pat their own back defeating Sri Lanka (population 25 million less than most of Indian States) or equating with South Africa (45 million) or so others.
Hope Pawar wins here too.

It is high time for BCCI to build new image for Indian cricket free from prejudice and favourtism.Earlier BCCI team have sopiled the immage of countries cricketers by installing inefficient team leaders and managers who even do not how to speak in public.

With good wishes to new team headed by Mr Shard Pawarjee.

The ugly presentation of India in the international Cricket at Kolkatta got a punch as Mr PAWAR wins .The plitical turmoil of BCCI could see a brighter side of it as he is known for able administration .Lets all give him full free hand to clean dirty politics of BCCI.Its a good news all cricketing fans of India

Heartiest congrats to Sharad Pawar for wresting control of BCCI.
It was about time that the Dalmiya and his caucus were shown the door.
I hope Dalmiya's cronies are also out of the scene, and Indian cricket gets a breath of fresh air to breathe. It seems in the scheme of things that have unfolded lately, with Greg-Dravid connection clicking for India; 8 out of 11 ODI matches won!!
