Brian Lara is a name that will be associated with international cricket for time indefinte just as Sir Garfield Sobers, the 3 W's, Clive Lloyd and others. Being a West Indian I am very proud of Lara as I am sure the entire region is. Everyone goes through a rough patch but it is what we do after that is most important. Lara came out of his patch hitting 226 and beaking a record in the process. This just shows the stuff he made of and his fighting spirit.
brain lara wah! kya mara! hit the kangaroos hard man lara! i am proud of lara that his performance got impulsive surge at last. I pray almighty god that brain to score one more double century in the second innings as brain is hunger of runs will never end. Bravo lara keep hitting the best bowlers in the world
A genuine batsman, and probably the last of the great Windes legendary cricketers. He deserves to be the all time great, inspite of the time when Sachin Tendulkar overtakes his current record.
This is a great day. I was little unhappy with Lara for some time as he was not scoring in his two earlier matches. But he has regained his form and his hit a beautiful Double centuary and has proved himself to be the greatest batsman of all times. Though I am Indian, I donot understand I like Lara so much. I even like him more then Tendulkar or Gavaskar and always consider him to be a great Cricketer. I congragulate him on this historic occasion. There is some magic in players like Garfield Sobers,Vivian Richards, and Lara, all west indians.
