by ashok babu.T on Nov 29, 2005 12:39 PM

it was a shame to see bengalis behaving in an unpatriotic way. eden gardens has been the place for the worst crowd behaviour throught its history. Its time we stopped hosting matches there....what a shame!

It was a shame on the Bengalis during the Kolkata Match. I think only very few Indians were there in the Stadium. What they did keeping in mind of Ganguly is really bad and i think it will only go against the poor guy Ganguly. I will recommend BCCI to stop playing any international match involving Indians. Only Bengalis should play in Bengal not Indians.

On Tendulkar's Poor show

I like watching Sachin scoring heavily and aggressively & so disappointed with his present form

I will suggest sachin to play his normal aggressive game, so that he will definitely return to form at once

We will regroup: Dravid

Our present captain has confessed that the players put unde him are not united but the person who organised them in a difficult situation has been kept outside TEAM INDIA he built up at the handiwork of vested intersts. Nasty politicking has again raised its head in his absence. What is going on is not CRICKET & to bring back the lost glory the most successful Captain of India is to be reinstated with full honours before it is too late.

Unpredictable pitches
by Karthik on Nov 27, 2005 07:01 PM

The point is neither the teams batting first nor the commentators are accurately able to predict what kind of a score will be competitive in the last 3 matches.

Ganguly, Sachin not indispensable
by Arvind Nandan Lal on Nov 27, 2005 04:17 PM

First of all, the way Kolkata went about this match was most undesirable. "No Sourav - No Match". And then 'Green Top'... and then Booing the home team - Why? Is Sourav more important than India as such? Is a player, who has hardly performed in the last 2 years, so important that loss for team India is the sweet revenge?? This smacks of extreme selfishness and hatred.
Secondly, Sachin... He has lost the touch it seems. And no doubt, if he continues in this manner, he will be left to evaluate only tennis as his career option. By similar standards as Sourav's, his claim to a 'natural' permanent place in the team doesn't exist anymore. But please, Mumbai, do not repeat the Kolkata example. If Sachin is to be dropped, it is in team India's interest, and not to insult your city. Those who think in this manner are no better than modern day terrorists.
Thirdly, Rahul. He is wonderful - and needs no special advice. If he has had to drop Sourav (or indeed Sachin in future), it will be in the interest of the team. He doesn't have to repay any 'debts' to Sourav - anyone gets into the team only if he performs.

Dravid's Poor captainship
by Raj on Nov 27, 2005 03:50 PM  | Hide replies

I would like to draw ur attention to one point that while in
India getting captainship is more important than performing
after getting it, other countries have captains who alone can
make their teams win!!!

When Sachin can give up his capataincy for India\'s sake
Rahul should follow him. In one days we need a captain
who has the capability to change the direction of game on
his own caliber and who don\'t look at others to perform.

Save Team India from Chappel
by sanjay kumar on Nov 27, 2005 02:42 PM

Can you believe now BCCI taking side of Chappel on fingure issue. It seems BCCI has no respect for Indian values.Specially Mr. Rajeev Shuka is a very clever politican and he and his party Congress and Mr. Shard Pavar favoring the Chappel due to election and the same time they also want that Dalmia should not favour Ganguli whether he has no fault.I also have request to Media specially when they say the public of Kolkata, they must say the Indian public, they are also Indian and we must appreciate them for their act ,any how they are unite even for Ganguli matter and all country should takes lesson from it and will appreciate them.
Please accept my greetings to Kolkata citizens and now it is turn of Mumbia citizens to loud their voice against Chappel, Go back australien non-sense mind we do not need your services we have our intellegent, labours and faithfull players who can be good coach of Team India.I appeal to eveery Indian that do not liquidate our Team India, Save it.

Enjoying......
by subhajit dasgupta on Nov 27, 2005 02:20 PM

It's a golden period for indian newspapers/channels... They are really having a good time...Gosh!!! So many controversies in the pipeline...I just hope Dalmiya group wins the election, which is unlikely to happen...but if it does then the story will reach its climax.First Chappel will be screwed for his finger controversy, then Ganguly will regain his position in team and probably will get back captaincy within month. If pawar becomes the chief sadly these all will die up very soon..What an irony, last time the cancelled election saw the email controversy and this time the finger rose just before another one.The BCCI officials are scratching their heads.

Wanna add a little comment..Dravid it seems is as bore in his captainship he was once as a batsman...I don't like the diplomacy. Even if Ganguly doesn't make it to the team,we expected Dravid to say at least some good stuffs about ganguly, just for the sake he played with him so long...the later vehemently praised dravid in a recent interview.

And Kolkata, salute to you...You can get under the skin of anyone just like your favourite son Ganguly does. Not bothered about the morality, but you certainly took the revenge you craved for.
