Irfan Pathan promoting as opener is stupidity of the experimentation.I guess with these experimentation they will collapse the morality of the players confidence.Irfan is a fine player use him in occassional 3rd downs and promote him to 5th down if needed.
When we have shewag, Sachin,Gambhir and Dhoni why do we need Irfan and Agarkar to open the innings.
