Dravid

Dravid should have been a captain three years ago.He is far far better than Ganguly. As a captain the emotion control factor is very important which is lacking with Ganguly.

M.A Ravishankar
Greg Chapple about Captaincy of Dravid
by M.A Ravishankar on Nov 18, 2005 01:12 PM

Perhaps the success of Dravid against Srilanka and ofcourse when he was makeshift captain at Austraila and Pak has made Chapple shower praises on Dravid. Dravid as a player is exceptional but as captain is yet to go a long way.

We cannnot take away the laurals Ajit Wadekar and Dravid's predecessor Ganguly has brought to India.

Is it correct for inform and still capable of playing more and more Cricket to write Boigraphies and publish them.

Book on Dravid

Greg is absolutely right to say that Rahul is a 'nice guy'. It is perhaps a bit easier to be a good cricketer than to be a 'nice guy'. We wish Dravid proves what Greg prophesizes !

Dravid
by Rajiv Gupta on Nov 18, 2005 11:10 AM

I think Dravid is a role model. Any father would love to be his kid like Dravid. I must say if any one has courage, determination, concentration as Dravid than he can be sucessfull in any field of life.

He is really a fine example for the kids.

The book is a very good compilation of the matches that had been a turning point in RAHUL'S career. The quotes of the various cricket personalities tell us the quality of this wonderful batsman that had led him to success in all his endeavours. Its a book that could serve as a guide not only to a cricket aspirant but also to all those who want to contribute the most in their respective fields.
An tribute to the author to have succeeded in his attempt to bring to the public espescially to the youth the life of an important personality.

Release of Book on Dravid
by RAMESH.V.R. on Nov 18, 2005 09:57 AM

Dear Sir,

Please convey my Congratulations & Best wishes to the Indian Captain Rahul Dravid. I have been watching him
since his St.Joseph, reading about his progress and achievements.

Specially to be in Indian team that too from a Karnataka state itself is a Miracle when the competititons were at high and the influential people at the Boards wanted to have players of their states.

It's really an achievement for a person travelled a long distance at a shortest span of time with his own capabilities and achievements.

May god bless him with more and more years of fruitfull life and in the Cricketing world. I am sure the members of the Indian creckit team members will lend their full support to Mr.Dravid in winning the WORLD-CUP 2007.

With best wishes.

Rahul Dravid
by moholkar on Nov 18, 2005 09:55 AM

Dravid as a

1. human being
2. as a indian cricketer
3. as a captain of indian cricket team

is so much successful and is in demand, just because his actions speaks everything and not his tongue. Another quality is shrewd, unselfish and egoless behaviour in all sphears of life.

thanks
