Why with only harbhajan??
by Harshad on Nov 17, 2005 11:56 PM

Now this is a usual thing for indians. Bhajji was spot by the refree but the more guilty nel of SA was overlooked. Which law is this? For this reason only I support ganguli. He is the only person who can fight at any level for the sake of the team.

Harbhajan fined.. but Andre Nel is just fine

It was always Mike Procter, Clive LLoyd and now Jeff Crowe joins the party of match referees, being the best unbiased (pun intended). I happened to see the highlights of the first ODI between RSA and INDIA. Andre Nel among all the RSA bowlers was the most disciplined (code of conduct for players). After each delivery he bowls, he would go up to striker, smile at him and give him a small pep talk. Are you all confused with the above statement? Don't ever be . This is exactly how the match referees see the action and when it comes to an Indian's glance at the batsmen ( he might have even said "SORRY" for something) would be considered as breach of rules. I guess ICC just wants more money and they know where to get that from ( Indian players being paid a lot by the richest board of cricket).
Never be surprised to see this as headlines in papers soon " 25% of BCCI's money every yearhas been allocated as co-pay for fined players "... Secretary BCCI .

This is unfair

I cannot beleive Jeff Crowe only fined Harbhajan. What about Andre Nel? He was constantly talking to the batsmen - is that not bad? The match referees in cricket and ICC's current rules are a joke in my opinion. If a player cannot show even this kinda emotion, then nothing should be tolerated and i hop Andre Nel is soon taught a lesson by Sehwag's bat

First ODI - Ind-SA Series

I totally fail to understand the logic behind playing failed batsmen like Kaif in such all important games. What has happened to Raina? At times when a lacklustre out of form batsman like Dravid is captaining India and the coach is attempting to learn the ropes of coaching by continuing with foolish experimentations, Team India can only hope to win matches by individual brilliance of Dhonis and Yuvrajs.

Although in this game Sachin was unfortunate, he is definitely not his usual self these days and will be much better at No 5 but thanks to the poor decision making at the level of captain/coach he is forced to open while a capable opener like Gambhir has to bat much lower in the order.

Long live the idiots ruling Indian Cricket. I think they are going to be very successful in their designs and India shall be nowhere well before the target date for Chappell - ie. 2007 World Cup.

It is time we all realised that Chappell is with one point programme to destroy team India and he is well supported by Dravid and selectors.
