On team INDIA (cricket)
by K.Krishnam Raju on Nov 19, 2005 11:52 AM

why should indian team prefer the player md.kaif
he can,t go for shots and he can,t play well in top class bowling. why he be in the team?
the team getting from his fielding is nothing.
he can jump but he can,t stop the ball.
he can,t take the extraordinary catch also.
please give a chance to raina and venu instead of kaif who can feild equal to him.
Best of luck to team india.

Dravid's team

Yeah I agree, it is Dravid's team for the time being...but not long ago it was Sourav's tigers....I am sure that it wont be long if Dravid also has the same fate was Sourav

It's time India really learnt to respect its heroes..after all if we don't who wil????

Dear Mr Asif,

I really dont understand what do you mean by a weak team. Sri Lanka is worlds 2nd Best team and to beat it really takes a lot of tight work and proper planning. You just see one match and comment. Australia also won so many matches but lost in the Ashes. Blindly dont make any sentences. Wait for the series to get over and then decide. You said SA VS INDIA would be 5-0. Now already it is 1-1. See it and i can assure you that you will bow your head in shame when you see India win.

No hard feeling BOSS.

5-0 drubbing expected from SA
by Asif Khan on Nov 17, 2005 02:38 PM

The result confirmed that India can only beat weak teams even on their home turfs in ODIs. In all probabilities South Africa will inflict a 5-0 drubbing in the current series.
India needs to prepare sporting wickets if they want to develop technically correct quality players unlike Dhonis and the likes.

about india's performance
by k.anantha padmanaban on Nov 17, 2005 12:03 PM

india should not use part time bowlers.instead of gowtham ghambir murali karthik should be placed then harbajan's batting performance was good but he wasted 3 balls in the last over of the indian innings.if he got another 10 runs then there will be a chance of winning

India's defeat
by R.N. Babu on Nov 17, 2005 11:47 AM

Sir,

It seems, after a brilliant start by Dravid, he seems to be wavering when faced with a mighty team like South Africa. It is beyond explanation as to why he did not opt for RP Singh's services immediately after SA lost its 5th wicket. Dravid should have gone all out at that time since another wicket at that point of time means, opening of the gate for India. SA are known chokers and India could have achieved victory had the captain been more imaginative.

Dr T S Raman
Andre Nel
by Dr T S Raman on Nov 17, 2005 09:38 AM

The SA bowler Andre Nel was caught on TV a few years ago in match in South Africa, mouthing the foulest OBSCENITIES at Ganguly. As far as I remember, he was not punished. In yesterday's ODI in India, he was again seen apparently saying something to the batsmen after almost each delivery. Why did not the TV commentators remark on that? Why did the Indian captain not object? Why did not the umpires take action?

Bring back Ganguly
by Samrat on Nov 17, 2005 09:35 AM

Bring back Ganguly, Dravid is not worth, he couldn't inspire team india to put pressure on SA and make it a match. By 40 overs their sholders were down. He couldn't made proper bowling changes and continue to bowl with make shifts tendulkar and yuve. He didn't had any strategy to encouter SA batsmans. I don't see the same intensity and fighiting sprit of Team India while during Gangulys Captency, where india used to fight till the last ball.

Chapel's India Team
by Siddhartha on Nov 16, 2005 11:46 PM

If India continues his defeat, I am sure Chapel will say that this is not my team, this is Ganguly's team. I am helpless.
