It is a disgrace the way we all have short memories. Before Rahul Dravid starts feeling 'ecstatic', it might be a good idea for him to remember that if not for his friend Sourav, he might only have been a test player. Dravid's acts just proves the theory that the silent ones are the most dangerous.

As for Greg Chappell...when he was the Aussie captain, he used to pick and choose his tours, leaving Kim Hughes on the firing line as and when he was unavailable. During his absence, stalwarts like Lillee and Marsh made sure that Hughes never got the support Hughes needed. MoreoDoes Indian Cricket need coaching from someone who compelled his younger brother to bowl underarm during a one-day final, especially as even a 5-year old knows how to do so....maybe Trevor did not know how to bowl one.

Before we start eulogising 2 characters like Chappell and Dravid, let us at least give credit to Ganguly for moulding a team with spirit, with no parochialism. He is after all India's most successful and greatest captain.

Finally, Kiran More as chief selector..great choice..don't you think????
