Batting Let us down

Rediff,

Do you guys proof-read at all? There are so many sentences without \"articles\". Example being \"It was good pitch to bat on\" - where is the \"a\" ? I am sure that an eloquent spokesperson such as Dravid would not speak without some basics of English.

It is imperative that a reputed site like yours gets the basics right.

Though we lost the match, still the bunch is looing confident out there in the middle.Improvement in the bowling department makes the team more tough.

ALLTHE BEST TO INDIAN TEAM.

The fog was a crucial factor

SL played well to win but I think India lost the game by some overconfidence and inexperience from the younger lot. All of Maharoof's wickets were gifted to him, one per over. Rao, Raina, Agarkar (stupidity) played awful shots when the situation did not demand it.

Agarkar, RP Singh and Sreeshanth bowled well but once the dew became a factor, it was a lost case. When Kartik was finidng it difficult to grip the ball, I wonder why Sehwag thought of bowling.

I think having day-nighters when there is so much dew is a nonsensical decision. The team fielding second draws the short straw and it is a no-win situation unless they badly mess up their batting stint.

Whoever scheduled this match as a day-nighter was a moron of the first order, that too on a Sunday!!!

Selection of VRV Singh has brought in some excitement. We have heard about his pace and also his big hitting down the order. Can't wait to see him play.
