Errors in Editing
by Joseph on Nov 05, 2005 03:05 AM

This is by far, the worst edited article I have ever seen on rediff till date. Are you lovering your standards? Even after seeing all the comments, I can still see spots in the article where it says India won with six wickets in hand. Embarrassing at the least. Don't you have a reputation to uphold?

Hello,

The second para says "India bowled out the visitors for 262" but India bowled them for 261

Contradictory......
by shashank on Nov 04, 2005 10:57 PM

Wat a great contradiction in two sentences consecutively given in the news, just take a look...

India reached the victory target of 262 with six wickets in hand and 26 balls to spare.

Vs

India won the match by a comfortable four-wicket margin to take an unassailable 4-0 lead in the seven-match series.

Wrong Facts by Harish Kotian
by Arihant Parakh on Nov 04, 2005 10:11 AM

The writer does not know anything about what happenend yesterday at Pune. First of all, Dravid elected to bowl, NOT BAT. The writer says that India elected to field in the first paragraph, but in the second, says it came as no surprise that Dravid elected to bat after winning the toss. Second, Atapattu scored 87, NOT 80. Third, India won by 4 wickets (because they lost 6 wickets), NOT by 6 WICKETS.

These are just a few mistakes, because I have read only the first few paragraphs. I could not read more because I got fed up of the crap. If such mistakes are committed by writers of rediff.com, people will stop reading from rediff.com.

Ref to your article

Atleast get the facts right. India won by 4 wickets and not 6 wickets. Rahul Dravid elected to bowl and not bat.

Such mistakes make reading your articles a pain.Hope someone proof-reads before publishing on the web. Spare a thought for the readers....

by manjeet grang on Nov 04, 2005 08:44 AM

hi
i don't know what is going on the rediff.com. in this 4th odi match between India Vs Sri lanka . information provided by website was totally wrong in the last couple of hours of the match. it shows the half century for Raina and actually he never did in the match. and right now information shows that india beat sri lanka by 6 wickets that is not true. india beat sri lanka by 4 wickets. i hope web adminiterators will look in to the matter and would try to update with more accurate information and that would definetly increase the reliability of our website(www.rediff.com)
