Lets not forget that all these great performances are come on placid indian wickets....which are perfect for batting....Let these guys also prove themselves in alien conditions....if they are able to do so, then surely we have few guys who will represent India in furture...for quite sometime.....I would love if that happens.

What is the point of making statements like this when the people who praise do not speak when these people have to make their way out when so called 'injury ' people come in and when it comes to next series select some other new faces ? Will this new captain ( obviously deserved ) make sure that the set of members will be retained or motivated in the right direction going forward and keep their confidence going ?

Hi everybody,

Well, dhoni and raina are definitely good prospects, but I have reservations about the ability of rao. Looking at his batting, he seems to be able to play only a particular shot... the lofted one square of the wicket, when the ball comes short and wide. At all other shots he seemed quite uncomfortable.

I think the find of the fourth ODI was raina. He seemed to have excellent timing and played shots all over the field. He was comfortable even playing murali. I think he is really a good prospect, similar to the likes of yuvraj singh, whose shot making style resembles his.

What a Splendid win?
Indians are working as a team its a good sign of good cricket. The way the Indians espessialy Raina an Dhoni faced the conditions under stress was really exceptional.
Everyone is contributing, they have improved a lot in fielding, good going keep it up. If the same continues no doubt India will definitely win the coming world cup.
