BCCI have entirely forgotten about the fielding prowess of our indian team.Among all the test and one day teams,India is at the lowest webb as far as fielding is concerned. 1.Running between the wickets 2.Throwing at the wicket 3 When the ball comes to the fielder,he waits for the ball to come to him instead of running in the direction of the ball. By this they are giving one extra run.Nobody seems to have thought over about the fielding at all.It is high time they appoint a coach for fielding like Jhonty rhodes.Time and again they have missed no. of run out chances in the matches.It is high time the authorities at the helm of affairs look into this aspect and improve this aspect of the game. Thanks I am watching cricket from 1948 onwards and played for my school and college for eight years.
why make such a big fuss over the selection of a person to coach the Indian cricket team???? anyway, the performance of the team is very inconsistent and unstable and it would remain very much the same with any tom,dick and harry at the helm. the whole world knows that the BCCI is the richest in the world and the candidate coaches' consider it a privilege to be employed by a very rich employee, at the same time earning a bulky salary. it is becoming similar to that of the 'money transfer' of european footballers !!!
I feel Coach for cricket is the captain of the ship. He only knows about the team in which direction it is going. and he is the man who should move the team in right direction. Though experienced Sachin, Dravid, Sehwag, Kumble, Gangulay and Laxman were there in the team, but some times all of them were failed under pressure. recent Pakistan tour was the best example. So in my openion, for any experiencedplayer there should be some thing to learn for every game. so Coach selection should be happen based on how he can use the players, how he can increase thier confidence level and make them winning spirit. He should know the players very well and their performances, attitude etc.. Only then he can make the team on winning mode. I feel M.Amarnath was the nearest person who knows most of the players very closely since long time and is the best to chose as a Coach. I don't think the others were known the players very well than the Indian master.
Greg Chappell and Tom Moody are the best coach but i dont know best selection any one choose ! i think Greg is coach selection. hope indian team will be win world cup !
Amarnath should be the next Indian coach I am furnishing below the reason: 1.Amarnath is an Indian he knows Indian better and also communicate better. 2.Amarnath is the key person for whom we won the 1983 world cup (don't forget that) 3.Amarnath is a allrounder and we need a coach who can see the batting and bowling otherwise again we have to take some like Bush Rid or Akram. 4.Indian Cricket will have to spent less money if any Indian will be the coach.
since the great experineced player as well as caption, he can do the right job after john right. He has been in keep in touch with all our indian team(senior players) for verly long time. So he can guide the world class players like sachine, dravid and sewag. So i will opt chappell.
