I refer to the following statement in your above article. "Mahendra also made it clear that skipper Sourav Ganguly would surely come back in the team after his six-match ODI ban was over." But on the captaincy issue, he said "selectors will decide that". When majority of the cricket fans and critics question the inclusion of Ganguly as player in the Indian Team only because of his extra-ordinarily poor batting form and not for his captaincy, is it not odd for Mahendra to have commented as if Ganguly deserves a place in the team as a batsman and only his retaining the captaincy is yet to be decided. Does he also mean that selecting the captain only is Selectors' prerogative and selecting a player is mahendra's choice?
I do not understand, why we Indians have a facination for the white skin.
We have good Indian Players who can become good coaches given time,if you can give a white skin five years, and also manage to lose a series against the Pakistani's, the why not give the Indian coach three years.
