Wright made the right decision

I fully agree with Dungarpur that Wright should have been given more time with the team. But, after the success Wright achieved with the Indian team, at home and abroad, there was too much interference in his working. There were people who wanted to take credit for the success of the Indian team.
The Board appointed these people to various posts like batting coach, bowling coach, fielding coach, etc. So, what role did Wright play in the team as a coach, when his job was handled by others. Wright's role, after the success India achieved in Australia, was reduced to a mere spectator.
This interference affected the performance of the team and India started performing badly.
In such a situation, any person would have wanted to relinquish his post and Wright did just that.
After all, too many cooks spoil the soup.

Yeh I do Agree with the Mr Dungarpur. But again no coach is responsible if the Entire Team fails..Our Players are not playing for the country, especially Tendulkar, he has lost his gear, and just want to make 1 century in on series, so that people will remember him,He just play for himself. He know India public never going to complain against him because his Records.First we need to thnk about this Then Coach.

Ganguly is one of the Best Team player i can say, because he sacrifice his place (Openning slot) now he is struggling, If he opens definitely he will get Run.Gain this happen because of Tendulkar, Tendulkar wants to open the Innnings and No body can go against him......shame on us tha we hava player like this who alys looks for him self.

This man is sick!

Do you mind shutting up Mr Dungarpur?! It has been a well known fact that the BCCI was willing to give an extension to Wright's contract but he wanted to spend time with his family.
I have always observed that you only criticise the Indian Cricket Board just because of your rift with Mr.Dalmiya! People like you are a discouragement to the Indian Cricket Team.

True that John Right did a gr8 job for Indian cricket team but a burgeoning for a cause for which Right himself was not willing any more is nothing more than being capricious....and Mr Dungarpur has been well known for this not too good old habit.Did he listend to te cry of the whole nation when Vengsarkar in top form of his life was left out of the sarjah cup in 1989?It was the same old man who didn't give a damn to the selectors views.

After a longtime it came off from a former BCCI official.

this is what the message that rediff.com tried to bring into the minds of the public for the last two weeks, about the lazy and dull attitude of BCCI members and its president. to me Govt of India should have a look at its committee leaders and try to change them with a good set of people who have buisness tactics as well as some former cricketers who are really good with repect to the game and selecting of players.

To me, Currently every BCCI member seems to be unfit for the post, Sports Ministry of India common get up and take it soon, before cricket is lost completely in india !!!!!!!!! (india once called as god of cricket, now seems to be a begger in cricket) what bad days for indian cricket fans.
