Only Greg Chappel is better in the list. Others are inexperienced and cannot handle a team like India mentally.This is a mental game and Indians are low in their discipline.Only Greg Chappel,Bob Woolmer,John Wright can change them.
After reading the comments I wonder what's wrong with us.
I wont have posted this article, if I have not read illogical comments by some readers saying that ganguly should be in committee, about Jagmohan Dalmiya being in committee.
People of the nation, first of all we should understand that no one, absolutely no one can improve cricket in India.
First of all we shortlist all the wrong people in the game and then we fight amongst ourselves to decide who is the best of lot. Does it matter who is on committee?
Any physical sport or for that matter any sport is governed by laws of physics. Who amongst our coaches know physics? How many of Indian coaches understand the real technique of Batting. For them its just a game where they will say get in the line of the ball and play. How many of them can justify why we should get in the line of the ball. How will I be in advantageous position to play a ball? No one is gonna answer that.
The guy who was best for the job, they didn't even consider him. Australian Keeper Rodney Marsh. His prodigies are none other than Ricky Ponting, Gilchrist....Look at the work he has done in Australian cricket academy. He has periodic class room sessions after practice.
Well Ganguly and co are too busy doing their Ad campaigns. So why the hell you, me or any of us are writing on this board...Its just waste of time....

As long as Dalmiya meddles in the BCCI affairs India will not get a right coach. What dalmiya knows about cricket. Has he ever played cricket. Does he know how to hold a cricket bat. As long as he is in the panel India will not get a right coach. He is spoiling Indian cricket. He is a bad man in Indian cricket.
i say ganguly should also be a part of the selection comittee...after the selection comitte decide ganguly should be provided with three options and he should select from them.in that way the coach will have a special attachment with ganguly and that will do good to the team,its only these two people who are made responsible for all,not the selection comitte people
Forget all the "SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES". ideally u should have Mr.Dilip Vengsarkar as our new cricket coach. For record sake, u can look for all the improvements he has done to the Elf Academy. Youngsters from that academy are an upcoming talent for India at international level. Don't go for Videshi Coach at all.
