Aussies were not missing Warne in 1998 series as mentioned in the article but missing McGrath. Warne had played that series and was badly beaten by Indian batsmen. Though Mcgrath had not played in 98 and Lee in 2001, I don't think it would have made any difference on the final result as shown in the subsequent series i.e. 2001 when Mcgrath was there and 03-04 when Lee had played.
