Both the 200 scored match of Kambli is won by his side (India) . So the author is write in his statistics. Here the taken condition is inspite of scoring 200 , the team he plays looses.
Mr.mt you have to read the topic properly before posting your message.
It says, the player who have scored a double-century but ended up on the losing side. May be Kambli's double century would have ended india to draw that match, or probably would have won that match.
by the way India's second innings game was a lesson for the test playing nations. As Javed miandad's words why didnt India lost hopes so early, they should have tried to draw the match may be from 20 -25 overs, not from 90 overs, it is a real shame for us. There is absolutely no fighting spirit for the cricketers. What can Sachin and Sourav will be saying now. Even countries like Kenya and Bangaladesh would not have played like this.
You have not understood the postings. We all know Vinod Kambli scored two double centuries, but India never lost those two tests. The issue here : inspite of scoriing double centuries the player end up in the loosing side. That happened to Brian Lara twice. Read carefully!!!!!!!!!
Dear Mr.Rajneesh Gupta you need to update your knowledge. Vinod Kambli(IND) was the first person on earth to have two double centuries that to in consecutive test. you forgot his name....i have seen those test matches myself....

Heh Mr MT
Please read the article carefully - I dont think Kambli ended up on the losing side for either of his double centuries. They were not the first on Earth either (I'm not aware of Cricket being played on other planets anyway).
