Enough of your obsession with records Sachin and fans!! We have had enough of it. Do all those tons of runs and records matter if they do not help India win a match or series versus tough opponents?
I just am extremely irritated and clueless as why none of the column-writers or reporters comment on the immediate needed comment rather than applauding a man for his personal milestone, which came when it didnot matter the most. SICKENING REALLY....it is only because of you people that certain people are made to held high than what they actually deserve. No doubt that tendulkar is a gr8 man and legend. But right now...Dravid,Inzamam,Afridi,Younis khan,Balaji,Sehwag have to be applauded more and these other so-called players have to be clearly criticised. they get heavily paid for these than anybody else. An open letter to tendulkar too has to be sent.... Wake up and go the australien way of sacking Steve Waugh or hayden. Atleast now,the board should go open and blast the needed for their famed work-perfomance. To see a Gr8 indian batting line-up collapse in the last two sessions after a gr8 start and loose the match is really pathetic and unpardonable.... My blood boils when I get to read such unwanted milestones being projected gr8 which doesnot deserve the same treatment. Wake-up reporters...donot milk-up things. with an extremely disturbed mind....
hi.....sachin congrulation to you break down the Sunil Gavaskar record. Rightnow you dont have play becose at that time you have play your own not for country. So leave it play ground. Please dont do this you have to do favour of india not your own. That the better way to achieve all indians hearts. You are not just a criketer, you are a soldier in indian teams. Please inspire Vireander Sahwag which is your class studients.
It is an irony that Sachin should reach this landmark in the most forgettable innings yet of his life! Poor guy is left in a hopeless dilemma whether to remember this innings for having crossed the milestone or to take it of his mind for it's outright insanity!
The gap between his match winning abilities against that of Lara & Inzy is widening by the day. There have been occasions in the past where he waged a lone battle very often, but just could not finish the job & take the team to victory! But atleast, there was consolation for his diehard fans like me in those innings in terms of watching his fighting performance. But these days, it is a pain to watch him struggle like the way he did yesterday and then get out to the Afridis of the world! India would be better off to lose the match without him so that we could atleast console ourselves that there was no Sachin and hence we lost so badly!
Hope, he will regain his mastery before he outscores the Legendary Steve Waugh! And I hope, it is not a hope against hope!
Sachin has in recent times equalled Sunil's 34 tons . Crossed 10,000 runs in Tests. Surpassed Gavaskar's highest score in tests. The 35th is yet to come. He still has the Sponsors 'logo' in his Bat. But the Sponsor has not used his name in any Ads for any of the above achievements. What is up?
Tendulkar surpasses Gavaskar...who cares? Tendulkar's (and other batsmen in middle order)defensive approach cost us the last test match versus Pakistan. The defensive approach allowed Pakistan to put more pressure with close-in fielders. Even half-volleys were defended..that was pathetic. Tendulkar has been around for almost 10-15 years now and he didn't utilize his experience at all. I am not undermining Tendulkar's achievements..he is a great batsmen and has been pivotal in many victories. But his performance in the match in which he surpassed Gavaskar (last test match)was pathetic.
...sachin and sunil. sunil got his last 117 runs (21 and 96) at Bangalore also against Pakistan on a minefield of a wicket and was given out to a ball that brushed past his forearm protector. Sachin, 'best batsman in the world' plodded and prodded his way to 16 off 98 balls on a shirtface of a wicket, and then gave it away without a fight.
It is high time that the media stop highlighting the personal milestones of the Indian cricketers. What is the big deal if Tendulkar surpassed Gavaskar ? Did it help Indian team in any way ? These cricketers should learn from the Australians on how to focus on team's achievement, rather than personal glory.
