One more player you have to omit i.e. our captain. Please omit and include one fresh player (Venugopal Rao/Shikar Dhavan) which will be more help full to our team instead of keeping one blocking one place for no reason.
i dont think that the ommission of anil kumble was a wise move by the selectors. he is a trumph card for india. a player who has 450 test wickets has been dropped without a valid reason.i think that the selectors should consider ths and bring him back to the squad
what the hell Indian team selectors think man, what is the use of having batsman likes of Tendulkar and Ganguly to whom Inzy can put 7 closin fielders. Pakistan is a young side still they can gimmic at tendulkar, thats an insult to audience like me. Kumble has done lot lot better than other bowlers in the team for ODIs, then why didnt he get selected, because of him we won calcutta test. I think team is going to be in very situation because of Ganguly and Tendulkar's playing styles. selectors must think in long perspective.
Time Ganguly Scored some runs. Let him not go back to his old ways of making Rahul the WK and also the Saviour of the Team. Seven Batsmen + Four Bowlers combo will mean that Ganguly is A batsman meaning to score runs.
What about Ganguly.. He should not even be allowed to watch the match. Maybe you can send tendulkar to give him company. Take a fresh under 19 team and groom them. And yea, limit them on the time they spend on commercial contracts !! I am sure that would certainly work out !
I would keep this team for both One-dayers and Tests with the exception of bringing in Kumble for Tests as a bowler and up in the lower batting order after the keeper.
We need to make some drastic changes. Ganguly needs to be dropped. Looking towards the future Dravid needs to be made Captain with Shewag as the Vice-Captain (future captain once Dravid is done).
Laxman needs to go. Beside some innings against Australia he hasn't done enough with the likes of Kaif, Yuvraj, and Mongia waiting in the wings. Sachin needs a talking to. He needs to come out of his self inforced shell, now that others have picked up where he left off, and go back to the beginning of his career. Just start fresh. If he keeps going like this he may just need to be replaced. Maybe he should play up the order with Shewag where he has no pressure since no wickets have been lost. He has opened in one-dayers enough to negotiate the new ball in tests as well. Maybe he can take a chapter out of his student's book while he's batting with him. If that doesn't happen then play Mongia at the top with Shewag and let Sachin come in at his spot. If Sachin opens maybe Laxman can be given a chance at #4.
The Indian Selectors are at it again! They have left Kumble out of the One day series against Pakistan. What more can be schoking than this! It was Kumble's crucial role in the 2nd test win and he batted so well against them in the 3rd. If anybody deserves a sack, it is captain Ganguly who looked like a novice batsman. Well, if you can leave one of the best spinners in the world then God save your team!
