They are well fit with the word CHOKERS...!! We must stop playing cricket now.. because of cricket no other sports getting upgraded or noticed with its potential... we cant even dream a GOLD MEDAL in Olimpics because of this nasty game - cricket.. The entire nation is watching even they are on duty or elsewhere.. and the end result ..crores of manhour and rupee lose.. We are now be a developing country.. to become a developed country.. we must end CRICKET from our soil.. otherwise we cant even dream of a developed country.. the full day cricket will bring back us more and more down.. we should stop cricket diplomacy and all those crap and lookforward something else.. we are inviting the neigbour on the name of cricket but the result is we are bringing ourselves down in all aspects..

Stop playing cricket.. and pick other sports up and look forward the better prospects of the nation..

Politics, Not Historical Baggage
by Ashok Karania on Mar 29, 2005 08:57 AM

Hi

It was not the historical baggage but politics that determined the
outcome of the third test. No one denies that India and Pakistan
need peace as neighbours, but why does one need to create
false feel good factor? Let us keep cricket and politics separate

How else can one explain Sachin, Rahul, VVS and Sourav all
failing together? And that also after being in good nick (except
for Ganguly)? And if we did not win, definitely we should have
not lost!

No one denies that cricket can be strong catalyst in India Pak
peace process, but let us limit cricket's role only to playing more
crickets and not deciding outcomes of series.

Cricket

It just proves once again that we have a spineless team. History repeats itself but in case of the Indian team, history does'nt seem to end! It is quite apparent that most of the players are after making records and win laurels for themselves. They know that their place is guaranteed in the team irrespective of their performance and have become very complacent. I strongly feel that the selection committe should be de-politicised and should boot out any nonperforming players. This includes the so called 'seniors' in the team.
