I am a big fan of Ganguly sir.I'm fond of his style of hitting sixes in the ground.All of us know that he is a strong player in the off side.He is also a successful captain after Azharuddin.It seems that he has lost his batting ability in the past one year.He's contributing well as a captain but not as a fellow teammate of India.In his captaincy we have won many matches that no way matters.I would request him to concentrate on his batting for time being.
We call our captain as a most successful captain, It is so as per records but our captain does nothing worthwhile and more often than not he walks with credit which entirely belonged to his team members. He has no imagination with regard to field placement, containment of batsmen and rotation of bowlers. Utility bowlers like Sachin, Veeru etc. are not tried at all. This feeling is aggrevated particularly after seeing Inzamam in action today on the field who exihibited near perfect captaincy in containing India to a modest total (Veerus outburst notwithstanding).
The pity is that the opposition knows how to get rid of our captain and he is trapped hook, line and stinker everytime. It is strongly felt that captain should voluntarily quit for sometime and gain practice by playing in Ranji and other types of matches. Our team can produce better results if we choose an all rounder in his place.
