what i feel that u can work hard and you can do smart work so i will be in sauravs side who had showed that he is the most capable captain and at this point of his life there is nothing that he will have to prove in front of all and kiran how do kiran more judge saurav because he only played 13 test in his life and saurav won more than 15 test match we can put this in another way that a class 2 boy is given the charge to rectify a mba student , another thing i want to share with all of the world that we all know that sachin is a good player and will play for another 2 years because his records are blastic and the printed media is always on his side but if he can be there as his records are blastic then why not saurav he was the highest run getter last year in test matches . i feel that politics is grasping our icc and its no better than a bog . this is injustice to our team india .And its now chappel india indians have less to do about this
I differ with Rameez Raza. As a person who has been following this sport since my school-days (1956) I have to say a captain is one who under critical times comes to the rescue to save the match. It is unfortunate we have lost many matches in the past under Ganguly's captainship due to irresponsible way he bats. That way Inzy has displayed better with the bat.
This is Aditya, a keen folower of cricket. I just have my thoughts to share ( with PCB) on why Salman Butt has to be preferred to Taufiq generally and specifically (at Kolkatta) . I see two reasons -
1. Salman has had a pretty decent start to his test career and scored a century and a 70 against Aussies(best test team)in Australia, when most of the top order batsmen were searching for runs.So it suggests Salman has a compact technique. 2. The last time Pakistan were at Kolkata to play the BCCI match against India (D/N game), Salman scored a matchwinning hundred and carried the bat.
Now, when a batsmen comes out onto the field to take strike, he may be carrying with him all his practice, advice etc. But, he will definitely derive confidence from his earlier knock at the same venue, that too a matchwinning ton.
i don't thing there merits any comparision betwween inzy and ganguly,we all know ganguly has been better than inzy!! for god sake stop comparing inzy to any one..i remember in earlier days he was being compared to sachin!!!!?????
Indeed, do we need foreigner to remind us of sourav's finnese as our captain. Don't we ( rediff and anti-ganguly, that seems to be verybody who is not a Bengali) have the confidence to accept the fact that is staring at our faces! Isn't it like the British telling Sikh kingdoms to attack other Indian kingdoms in 1857, on the surmise that Sikhs considered themselves Indians then and now.
Ganguly is doing nothing.. Team is playing good and he is a spectator bagging all credits.. Unless he improved hell be ousted .. When Tendya was captain team was playing bad.. Thats the difference between a good and bad captain..

hello smell up coffee pls for god sake don't critisize ganguly like that how many indian captains before him has matches eyes with tough competitors a picture of win hungry aggresive team this was the picture of TEAM-INDIA Gaguly potrais we support sachin shewag all when they are their rough patches why we are so harsh on him?

This is ridiculous!! How can one say that Ganguly is a "better captain"!! How can he be called a 'captain' at all when he is nothing but a quota player!! To be specific he was selected because of Mr. Dalmiya, he is in the team because of Mr. Dalmiya and he is the captain also because of Mr. Dalmiya. It is his sheer good luck that Dravid-Tendulkar-Shewag-Laxman-Kumble-Pathan-Harbhjan and all others have performed and India has won 19 test matches. What is Ganguly-s role in that? He is such a shameless and arrogant fellow that recently he remarked that his work as captain has been appeciated more from people outside India!! That is very natural! The opponent teams, players, officials back Ganguly with the obvious motive that a "nothing player" like him be there always in the Indian team so that India virtually has to play with 10 players. Actually Steve Waugh started this "Ganguly praising" tactic and we all know how clever a person he was. He did this so that India can never beat Australia!! So it is the prime duty of "cricket lovers" of India to immediately build up a movement to throw out Saurav Ganguly from the team and put a petition to ICC to erase all his records.
