I agree with the author. Younis did some good captaincy. He was attacking all the time and that resulted Indian middle order crumbling.
I think the Pakistani bowlers did a good job on Day 1. The wicket wasn't doing much till towards the end of the day and it was good toss to win by India. For the most part India reaped the benefits of the toss and a 407 first innings total is still huge. Pakistan needs to cash in on the batting-track which is still difficult to bat on than yesterday but can be utilized well if the batsmen are careful.
It was a one-off situation. In the past, standing temporary captains have been aggressive, as they've not much to lose eitherways. Not to take anything away from Younis, but this shouldn't be an indication/test for his leading capabilities. I'm sure he will get many more chances to show his mettle.
