The ICC can take all its tournaments and go to the Bahamas to get all the tax exemptions it wants. Who is the ICC kidding by saying that it spends its money on cricket. It spends its money on fatcats travelling in First Class around the world and holding meetings that discuss other meetings in posh hotels. The Indian government has no need or obligation to provide any tax exemption to the ICC. In fact, I would recommend an additional luxury tax on the BCCI and ICC for the way they run the game and squander money is useless pursuits unrelated to cricket.
Waht a load of crock. In the US everyone pays taxes on earnings - everyone - even winners at international events held here, so why should it be different in India or any other country?
