Cricketing stories have the drama and tension to drive people like me to edge of their seats, bite their nails, throw curses and stay stuck to the screen sleeplessly through the night. Prem happens to be the best cricketing reporter Rediff or for that matter any Indian website has, and its good to see him PENNING his heart out. I hope he will continue to cover the series.
That said, Sehwag certainly gave us all lot to cheer (and occasional scare!) I hope he lasts the day tomorrow, and has partners on the other end:) 312 seems an easy target to him alone to have a go at (if he stays, and Pak support to his cause continues)!
The article about the second days play in mohali test between india and pakistan was really good. the way it was presented was gr8. inspite of having watched the entire match i felt like reading through the article to the end. wonderful way to write about cricket. carry on the good work.
Please accept my applause for a very statistical yet well-written comment. I, particulary found the "he was scoring at an Australian clip, from the opener's position.." & the "he gets the bulk of his runs through the off cordon - 9 in the arc from third man to point.." comment interesting. As far as Sehwag is concerned, though highly underrated,he still remains the most watchable & exciting cricketers of modern times. Hopefully he has a long way to go.
I did not get an opportunity to watch the match. But the article published was complied so passionately, that the i was able to visualize the second day of the test and the work of serial killer Sehwag.
