For an Indian studying abroad in a non-cricketing nation, arguably the greatest sacrifice is missing out on live telecasts ( for that matter any telecast at all). Articles and analysis on the web provide the only sustenance for such deprived souls.
Thank you Mr Panicker, it is articles like yours which momentarily lift the gloom that descends everytime there is a cricket series that I would give an arm and a leg to be able to watch. I await your future articles with enthusiasm and impatience.
I had started reading the match report at cricinfo owing to Prem's departure. I "accidently" open the report on rediff today and was overwhelmed. The same incisive report as before. I hope Prem, you are here to stay for a long time.

The above mentioned article is extremely weak in its narrative, in its structure and in its orginality. When will such incompetent journalists realise that the usage of hackneyed and worned out cliches only leads to ill-constructed, unwarranted gloss and tackiness. The article shows laziness, glaring errors in the use of certain "boombastic" words and a lack of any reasonable thought. Nevertheless, one can only hope that it doesn't get any worse than this.
p.s: I can write much better than this person. Go on, try me!!
