Today Indian Cricket is in shambles, because every zone wants representation. Players are not selected on merit ! We are not going to run a Govt to select people from every state.
The selectors/Coach should be given a free hand to select the final 13 from the probables. The so called seniors like Sachin, Gangully should not be allowed anywhere near the Room where the selection of the team is in process. Both Sachin/Gangully should be treated like any other player.No preference/weightage should be given to them as they do nothing for the teams cause !! Both play for themselves for their existence and records and care very little for the country.
Unless the Selectors use the big stick, no one should expect miracles from Indian Cricketers !!!
