Exit time for the Aussies

It takes just a defeat or two to expose the glaring cracks in the Aussie armoury. For a team that has almost always thrived on 'opponent intimidation' and throwing a cloud of cricketing and non cricketing pressures on opposing teams to disable them from performing to their potential, this series could be a revelation both to the world and to the Aissues themselves.

Simply put, when attacked, the Aussies get shell shocked and crumble. When fast, rising balls are bowled into their bodies, their batsmen look silly (like they did against Shoaib, Jermaine Lawson, Shane Bond etc.- Flintoff and Harmison should target Ponting in this )When Mcgrath goes for ten runs in his first over, their spirit is half gone, as instances in the past have shown.

The Aussie team has survived hugely on pressure tactics & hype and a little less on pure talent. This England team is up with its best chance of not only regaining the Ashes but also denting the Aussie ego hastening a few retirements and exposing the 'fair weather' batting achievements of the likes of Ponting and Hayden.

I wish this England team all the best.
