Hi Mr. Brian Lara.... Advanced congratulations that you will be the fastest to reach 11000/- test runs ... and most probably will remain as the fastest to reach 11000/- in the history of the game...
No one will play spin better than Brian Lara... no sachin ... no one... Brian Lara is the better test player than Sachin tendulkar...what tendulkar did in test cricket .... out of 34 cent... too many are against small and weaker teams and most in India.... and no innnings is under pressure... ??? where as brian lara... did everything which test cricket defines as a greatest batsmen.... Brian Lara 10000/- times better than sachin..... his class... his style... sachin is in no match.... sachin is a compact player ... Lara is a variety player ... adapts well to change.... his team is very weak,,... where as sachin has no pressure.... still brian lara managed to have better records and feets and match wins on his own... .
Brian Lara the World's Greatest BATSMENT.... for ever....
wow! magnificient, fabulous, tremendous i always held LARA is the contmprry best, just next to the DON although am indian, and love sachin, facts are facts, b follows a, y preceeds z, well, the brilliant form of lara is a question mark for our lil master all the same, i wish the best to sachin too
hats off to lara, keep the spirits high, break the records down
In the first test, WI beat pak by 276 runs. Lara scored a total of 178 runs in that match. WI would have won even without Lara's contribution. In the second match, WI had a reasonable target of 280, and Lara scores a duck off five balls in the second innings. He is no more a match winner than Sachin. I don't know why people keep putting Sachin down as not a match winner but drool on people like Lara, when he is no better.
West Indies need to start thinking beyond Lara. One man holding all the records does a country no good. Lara has twice scored world record scores of 375 & 400, but his team was unable to win those tests. Record is one thing, but Record in a winning or saving a match cause is what counts.
Mike Atherton's highest score is only 185 n.o., but he did that in the 4th innings of a test match, and saved a test match from the clutches of South Africa. I value that innings from Athers greater than Lara's record breaking innings.

get your facts right dude he is the best you cant expect a team to be as good as him
First of all congratulation Lara on surpassing the record of Legendry Sir Don Bradman. It seems from your form that you will break record of number of centuries which is jointly shared by Sachin and Gavaskar. But being an Indian I would like to see Sachin to achieve this goal first
