Ganguly will surely come back. Look at his performance at the English County where his present average is beyond 80 and he is seen to have got his touch back of hitting sixers racing down the wicket which is the sign of an inform confident player. it is the right time to make the move. its a new season, new coach with fresh ideas. dravid is proven to man with an open mind to newer ideas, whereas, ganguly always resisted the change, whether it is for good or bad.also ganguly is going through a lean patch, that too for a long long time.if he was not the captain of the side, he would have been out of the side much before. as it is the policy of the australians, we must always pick the best players into the team, then only select the best person suited , as the captain.
Ganguly has no other option but to get to the bottom of the game. Loosing captaincy should not be bathering him. Instead, he should take it has opportunity to eradicate the doubts of his critics.
Past records should not be the data that guarantees future. Couple of good niks, thats it..no one can stop him. Hope he dont take the relevation of Rahul and go otherways. Everyone knows when Sachin was captain, what went through Azar. Afterall Sachin's so many one day centuries came because of free hand Azar gave to Sachin to play at the top of the order.
Hope no other politics enters the team ... India get back the old Ganguly soon.
