Test Cricket is no doubt a team effort. A captain is as good as his team. Exceptions are thgere like Mike Brearly , Nawab of Pataudi Jr. etc. But even in test cricket certain important events like winning the toss ,weather, umpiring, and some element of luck do go a long way and at times even the best of teams will end as losers.
But its different in one day cricket where it is more a individual effort ( A good bowling spell or a lighting cameo by a batsman can change the entire complexion of the game).and the match is as good as over .
Where does TCS lateral thinking help ? especially if the indians end on the losing end !
I would say it's a lot of crap . Instead a think tank comprising of our own numerous ex crickets would better serve the purpose.
All the same I wish for the sake of our team, Indians do win and TCS wil learn something about cricket in the end !!
Bono method eh...this is going little too far....come on guys... work on your cricket skills...don't let TCS tell you how to bat..you will end up paying 10% here and 5% there.. You will have to share one car between 5 people and only one of you will have insurance. Five people will have to stay in one apartment together...thats what TCS bonehead method is.....
