hi,
i feel joshi was given a raw deal by the so called selectors.i think he was certainly bettre then murali karthick who looks good only on dust-bowls.just check out his performances in sydney and kanpur for proofs.

No Point in Playing Well..if You don't have a God Father.

Ther's no point in playing domestic matches if you are ignored constantly despite of doing well. I fully agree with Sunil Joshi's views. Look what happened to Shiv Sunder Das. Even though the selectors were on search to find out a suitable partner to Shewag, Das was never in contention.
Partiality by the selectors..or having no God Father affected Das's career..Who can reply?

Buck up Joshi!!
by Nitin on Jan 12, 2005 11:20 PM

He's one of those gutsy fellows who definitely deserve better than what's been meted out. Cricket maybe becoming more & more competitive, but if (with due respect) players like VVS Laxman & V Sehwag, who fail a lot more consistently than score good runs, are able to dissuade the axe, why can't this guy who is a potential all-rounder be given some more opportunities??
Go Joshi go! Our best wishes are with you!

If you have a excepional talent
like Murali, McGrath, Sachin or Kumble
you would sure get into indian team.

Sunil does little bit of every thing
and not good at anything. He better
face that truth and move on.

Hard work is not good enough without the gifts

That's life. Once joshi realises that, he can take his fate easily.

I don't think any injustice was done to him.He just wasn't world class for
international level.
