Dera sir, You have given wrong information for england's all time great wicket keeper and batsman ALEC STEWATR'S Career statistis in keeper's record table . He had played more than 125 tests and scored more than 8000 runs for england.I think u will correct this . He is no doubt the best wicket-keeper batsman of modern times. Not only in one dayers but also in Tests. The other outstanding wicket-keeper batsman was Clyde Walcott of the West Indies, who formed a part of the formidable 'three Ws' His feat if 13 tons in Tests is certainly no mean acheivement, which some front line batsmen fail to perfrom. Good lock to him for a long career ahead.

Alec Stewart scored over 8000 runs but it's mentioned as a keeper.As keepe he scored tha runs.But why u people misrepresent it.It must be mentioned clearly that its as a keeper.Any how Gilchrist is par above any keeper.Hope India gets another Gilly.
