Having reposed faith in karthik shows that the selection committee has become a little sensible nowadays.It will be too premature if they had discarded karthik considering the number of chances he had been given so far.I think he is worthy enough to be given a few more outings to prove his batting prowess.
I think Dhoni is better wicket keeper than Karthik. Dhoni looks more energetic behind the wickets and as a batsman he is a good striker of ball, he is a good hitter and can score runs quickly in ODIs.
