Hope he does plays the ODIs. He can supply some quick runs to Viru and Tendlya with his wild bowling. If he doesn't play the ODIs, that will be a big blow for India!
hello , this is vaikunth from chennai i feel that shoib has made this decision only after he has been fined 500$ for diciplinary.. i feel that he thinks he is the key for pak in india.... but thats not so.... and he feels that pak is waiting for shoib to provide the brake through against the indians and u know what happened in world cup first over of shoib.....i think he has forgotten it and another reason is he may be afraid of sachin thank you bye
Not many would agree, but it is a fact that India are lucky to face a weakened Pak team and the chances of victory now look good. Else, it could have been a very different story.
Sadly, Shoaib Akhtar is not touring India tour to play tests, but only one dayers if he recovers in time. Shoaib is a megalomaniac, who suffers from an exaggerated importance of himself and his mouth is his worst enemy. Shoaib has faced plethora of problems by his utterances, rather than proving himself to be potent bowler by deeds. If Shoaib wants to be an effective bowler and less injury prone, then he should concentrate on line and length, rather than sheer speed and drastically cut down his run up. His feeling that he needs quite a long run up to bowl very fast is totally wrong. Take the example of one of the legends of fast bowling, Sir Richard Hadlee, whose run up was a few steps longer than what Anil Kumble needed to bowl. Nevertheless, he bowled quite fast, accurately and one could see him moving the ball off the air and the pitch. Sir Hadlee is truly a great bowler if one were look at his strike rate in tests, averages, economy, etc. Just watching his bowling was a poetry in motion. Moreover, there was nothing suspect about his bowling action. It is high time that Shoaib becomes realistic and respects the authorities of the game and heeds their sound advice.
